Can you take a screenshot using the volume down button and power button? If yes... then ensure your hand edge is in contact with the screen. Swipe from right to left or left to right with the edge of your hand touching the screen.

The Hand Edge Must be in Contact of Screen

Ensure the Feature is Enabled:

Go to Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and Gestures.Make sure Palm Swipe to Capture is turned on.

For Palm swipe to capture

Capture screenshots effortlessly by swiping the edge of your hand across the screen .
No need to use buttons oe complicated gestures just a quick swipe, and you are ready to save and share your screen moments.
