I hope this post finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experience with my Samsung S22 Ultra, which has left me both disappointed and concerned. I believe it's important to bring this matter to your attention and to the attention of fellow Samsung users who might be facing a similar situation.

A few weeks ago, I eagerly updated my Samsung S22 Ultra to the latest software version, expecting to benefit from enhanced features and improved performance. However, to my dismay, I encountered a significant issue following the update: my phone's display became damaged and began malfunctioning. Lines and distortions started to appear on the screen, rendering my device nearly unusable.

As a loyal Samsung customer, I immediately contacted customer care team for assistance. To my surprise, I was informed that my device's warranty had already expired, and therefore, they were unable to replace or repair the damaged display without charge. This left me in a difficult position, as the damage was clearly a result of the recent software update, and not due to any mishandling on my part.

I want to emphasize that I have always taken great care of my Samsung devices, and I find it hard to believe that a routine software update could cause such extensive damage. It's concerning that after the update, my phone's display, which was functioning perfectly prior to the update, is now unusable.

I kindly request that Samsung thoroughly investigates this issue and provides a solution for affected users, especially considering the potential impact on customer trust and satisfaction. While my personal experience has been disheartening, I hope that my feedback can contribute to preventing similar instances for other Samsung users.

I don't know that what kind of rigorous test the team has been to. May be the work from home learning effect. Please tell me why so many people are facing if the update is properly tested. I will wait patently for some more days. If its not happening i know how to act in customer court.

This is the case after recent update of september which has nothing to do with users end which previously could not be predicted . I think thats their strategy to earn money through spare parts sell.They are irresponsible brand.Specially indian user now has option to go for Iphone easily. Better to leave all top model lover to shift to other top brand like apple and teach them that we would not pay for their fault. And also post it on social media to alert others who are thinking to go with top model of samsung.

Hello samsung users,
Mine s22 ultra was also facing the same issue but after contacting samsung they agreed to replace the screen along with the battery for free of cost(only 1 time replacement) but have to pay labor charges which cost Rs. 502. I'm happy with samsung service.

Dear bro my S22 ultra screen damaged due to faulty updates relised by sAMSUNG IN AUGUST 100 mails sent visit service centre but no sincere response from them being premium customer still not getting support imagine how worst is their behavior

I am also having the same issue in samsung galaxy S22ULTRA

It's like a brand Samsung premium segment phone display got flickering issue and gone completely useless with a year after warranty period it's really frustrating.. very disappointed..

And when i contact to customer care and service they didn't even care and didn't solve the problem.. 

Since the samsung phone like S22ULTRA has 3 year display warranty 

This is my first and last samsung phone

I had the same problem for a week. I updated my phone yesterday and this morning I noticed the white line and screen discoloration it's gone!!!! Works fine on 120hz!!! I hope the update fixes everyone's problem for S22 ULTRA.
