Samsung S21 FE Snapdragon 888 Wrong Update Promise

Samsung S21 FE snapdragon Edition was launched in July 2023. According To Samsung Update Policy Published in 2022 Every A and S series Phone will get 4 Major update and 5 year Security update. But since the launch only August Security patch was received in 5 months while the Exynos version is getting update in every alternate month. I called the customer care and asked about the update Policy of the particular Phone. But Shamefully the told me that this device will get only 2 Major update i .e. upto android 15. They made an excuse about the hardware compatibility of receiving the update. 

It is really shameful thing to expect such lame excuse, while the M34 device is compatible with android 16 and above then how can they say S21 FE's hardware is not compatible?

I think all the users of this device should make a PIL together in consumer forum about this fraud and demand compensation..

Update policy apply as per global launch mentioned in samsung site nothing we can do

Only possible is ask for Android 16

But I feel won't receive Android 16 as per Android enterprise it got aer certification from Android 11 4 years means 12,13,14,15

Many youtubers are misleading they are collab with samsung
Get till android 16

We should research before buy or else we lose our money

If you Have idea of sue please include youtubers who are collab with samsung (mentioned in description of their youtube)

Stating samsung and youtubers are misleaded the facts get till android 16
Sue stay in court after 3 years when android 16 is not released or else open shut case
Collect evidence from youtube screenshot of collab and download video for future purpose

Bro, so many things you said is wrong. S21 FE 5G was launched in January 2021. Exynos Variant reached India in 2022 while Snapdragon variant reached India in 2023. So India received the device 2 years late.

S21 FE was released with Android 11. When I bought mine, I got Android 12. Now it's running on Android 13 so that's 2 updates. The device will receive 2 more updates that's Android 14 and 15

And being a Snapdragon user even if you are not getting regular patch as compared to Exynos Variant, consider yourself lucky. Exynos Variant receives multiple patches because the Exynos SoC is just awful at most things. I have Exynos Variant and I'm regretting almost everything. Bad photos and videos, bad gaming performance, bad battery life.

I think you are mistaken!

S21 series was launched in Jan 2021 with A11 while S21 FE was launched in Jan 2022 with A12

I noticed one thing in Samsung, Exynox always gets the priority first, though SD888 is manufactured by Samsung, still Exynox has a little edge over SD. You have to keep extra patience.
