I have a Samsung Falaxy S20 ultra 5g phone bought from Dubai Feb 2021. After the recent software update a pink line appeared on the middle of the screen. I called the digital service call center and was promised free repair as the line appeared after the software update. I went to the authorised Samsung Ssrvjce Centre in Kollam, Kerala where I stay and told them.them the issue. They created a job sheet and said they would call me back. Rhey did not. So I went there again after almost two weeks. Showed them the reference number given by their digital service call.centre. They refused to help. Saying they did not receive the mail from the Area Sales Manager. Called the digital.service ce the again. Was given another reference number but the service centre would not help. I visited the ce tre four times without any assistance. I spoke to the Manager Harris. He also refused to help. They wanted me to pay ten thousand rupees to change the display! In spite of this happening after the software update. So, does it mean that customers should not do anymore software updates? I am a very sad and upset Samsung customer. Shall never buy a Samsung phone again. I spend one lakh plus for this phone and this is the service I get?! My family and friends are also upset at the treatment I got from Samsung.

Since I have no resolution for my issue so far, I am filing a complaint with Consumer Grevience. I have had no call from the Area Service Manager Samsung as promised by Anil from Customer Service. Samsung, you have not kept your promises.
