My s23 ultra display got shattered and my device is global unit also in warranty but didn't have the insurance
The screen replacement price as per website is 16.6k my doubts is my upper glass is broken but the touch is working fine will they charge less or charge the full amount of 16.6k exclude gst.
Any one faced such issue reply share your thoughts.
In India full charge will be taken because all technicians in mobile stores are greedy and don't tell that the screen is different glass layer and display is different glass layer....if your touch is working fine and no black dots or lines are there,that means only the tough glass is broken and not the display......in foreign countries only the damaged area is replaced...... if the tough glass breaks then only it is changed
In India you can't help,because all are greedy technicians in stores...you will have to change full display+glass.....also take back the old broken glass from them and see if you go in foreign country then change the glass from there...atleast you will have a extra display
Only independent repair technicians do that as it is a risky process and can damage the amoled screen. Even in foreign countries samsung sells/replaces the entire display unit and not glass.
Yeah but i don't think so if we are paying then also i will say no to repair If that so many user are using global unit due to price difference more than 20% from india
