SERVICE CENTRE DAMAGED MY PHONE DUE TO UNPROFESSIONAL REPAIR

Hi,

I had visited your authorized service centre "iCure solutions" in Kollam, Kerala for my galaxy s10+ warranty repair, visited your center on 04.02.2019, but they had advised me to take the backup and come again, so I left and done the backup, then came to service centre again on 06.20.2019 by 05.30 PM, they had taken my handset, issue was there with LCD assy and battery, they had told to me that parts are already received, and they will give back the unit after repair on 08.02.2019 noon, but I am confused about the successful restoration of water proof feature after the disassembling, water proofing is done in factory/lab conditions while manufacturing, I don't know how these people can do this in normal repair centre, I had paid more than 70000 rupees for this feature also, so I am worrying that after this repair not sure whether this feature is restored or not.

brands like sony, htc and oppo are replacing whole unit for water proof models, especially this is samsung's one of the flagship models,

for this concern I had contacted your customer support and they are telling that, no need to worry, all of the features will get restored and these works are done by machine only, you also know that it is a big blunder, even knowing that I had agreed, no issues, but i need to get my phone back at the earliest...

 

after few hours, I had got a call back from your centre and he is saying to me that they can't give back my phone today, as it is having some additional issues with camera, one of the lens is getting blurred, HOW????? just before the submission also I had tested and taken pictures in my camera, I haven't seen any kind of issue.. regularly I am taking pictures... but till now I haven't experienced such an issue... for this issue I had contacted your support again and had a word with your supervisor "Priyanka"... she is telling to me she can replace parts and make this unit working fine.... she is not ready to hear me properly, just put my call on hold for more than 15 minutes and discussed with service centre person in another call, then told to me that they will contact me.... she is just escaping from this issue and behaving too irresponsibly...

 

PLEASE TELL ME, FOR WHAT I NEED TO SPEND THIS 70,000 RUPEES FOR YOUR PRODUCT??????

THESE ARE THE RESPONSE THAT I AM GETTING YOUR PERSONS..

EITHER GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR GIVE ME AN UN REPAIRED UNIT..

NO NEED TO GIVE BACK CAMERA REPLACED PHONE, BECAUSE NO SUCH ISSUES WAS THERE...

 

FEELING SO PITY WITH YOUR SERVICE CENTRE PROCEDURES...

TILL NOW THEY HAVEN'T GIVEN ANY JOBSHEET... I WAS NOT KNOWN THE JOBCARD NUMBER ATLEAST, NOW ONLY YOUR SUPERVISOR GIVEN ME THE JOB CARD NUMBER.. IT IS 4299090138.

To answer your question about waterproofing after repair, I can confidently say that when the phone is repaired by a Samsung Authorised Service Center, waterproofing is maintained even after repair as they use professional tools to reattach the the phone with adhesive. I have repaired my S9+ battery once, and I had no issues with waterproofing afterwards as I have used it when it was raining and also under aquarium water to take photos of fishes.
Now when it comes to the camera problem they mentioned because of which they need more time and as you mentioned, you didn't have any camera issue before submitting the device, you have complete right to question them in detail why that problem occured while the phone was under repair and demand an explanation, for that you may escalate the issue if you don't get a satisfactory answer and resolution.

My phone s8 is also got screen flickering after i replaced my battery and charging port at samsung service center in jaipur.

Now they are saying it is not there responsibility...i have to replace my screen too .... How fare is that ? I went service center for one issue and they give me additional issue all of there fault . Need support ....
