S8 sensors had failed after update. new update came today, which didn't fix it yet. have reset my phone, cleared cache, nothing works. samsung is such a terrible company, not doing anything to fix this

not sure about that but you can try asking them, if your processor is exynos it will be easy and you may have to pay for the service.
