Where are monthly security updates for s7 edge..?? Still device running in April security patch. Lower models like s6 already running on latest patch in india. How your updates team works..? This is how you treat your old flagships..?? No battery drain patch for oreo, still cell standby draining battery. Please don't avoid these things as you think these are minor problems so there are no effects of these on users. Everything matters and everyone is already very dissapointed from update policy.
my battery life has come down to 3.5 hours is screen on time. Cell standby is consuming more battery than screen. I wrote a feedback about this matter. The reply was outrageous and hilarious. They outright denied the problem. They asked me to uninstall all 3rd party apps, Boot from safe mode, go to nearest samsung service etc. They even said "samsung does not recommend installing 3rd party apps from playstore ". Classic samsung not acknowledging the problem. People in xda have already figured out the problem. Radio is stuck in some frequency.
This is my last samsung phone. Extremely disappointed with software quality. Switching over to oneplus.
