S7 Edge in download mode

My S7 Edge got stuck and automatically rebooted to Download mod as soon as i force restart the phone it goes to download mod without a delay

i couldn't turn off until my battery drained which took almost 5+hrs to do so

finally i took it to samsung service center to claim warranty they repaired it on the same day though

as per their service report they have change the M/B and the Camera sensor

my question is

what might have happened?

is there any way we can force shutdown the mobile if it cought up in a boot loop?

holding the volume down and power should reboot the phone if it gets stuck
