Galaxy SIt sounds like you're experiencing some inconsistent brightness behavior on your Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1.Adaptive Brightness:
Ensure that the Adaptive Brightness feature is turned off. This feature automatically adjusts the screen brightness based on ambient lighting conditions, and it may lead to unexpected brightness changes.
- Go to Settings > Display > Adaptive brightness, and make sure it's turned off.
2. Power Saving Mode:
Check if the device is in Power Saving Mode. This mode can limit the screen brightness to conserve battery life.
- Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Power mode, and make sure it's set to "Optimized" or "High performance."
3. Screen Timeout:
Verify the screen timeout settings. A short screen timeout may cause the screen to dim quickly.
- Go to Settings > Display > Screen timeout, and set it to a longer duration.
4. Check for Updates:
Ensure that your device's software is up to date. Manufacturers often release software updates that include bug fixes and improvements.
- Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
5. Safe Mode:
Boot your phone into Safe Mode to see if a third-party app is causing the issue. In Safe Mode, only pre-installed system apps are active.
- Restart your device and hold the Volume Down button until the device finishes restarting.
- Check if the issue persists in Safe Mode.
6. Factory Reset (Advanced Step):
If none of the above steps resolves the problem, you may consider a factory reset as a last resort. Remember to back up your data before performing a factory reset, as it will erase all data on your device.
- Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory data reset.

Galaxy SI have same problem, and I found, that its temperature problem. You have set your phone to behave too strongly at higher temperatures. If the phone is in the sun for a while, the adaptive brightness absolutely does not work, it turns off because the phone is heating up. I've found that temperatures above 40 degrees are the problem. I wouldn't expect such strange behavior on such a premium phone. I also have the phone as a screen for a drone and the drone in pitch black display is terrible ... Do something about it finally ... I have 99 appetites to walk this phone to the ditch and buy the competition ...

Galaxy SI have the exact same issue with my S24. Out in the sun it throttles down on screen brightness after a few minutes making it impossible to see the screen and use the phone. Totally worthless!
