Galaxy SDear team,
I'm using my new Samsung s24 ultra for last 3 weeks, and i found that its display is getting dimmed while I'm using in direct sunlight.
But at same time i used my backup phone which is S21,but it doesn't have any issue, it works with its full brightness.

Galaxy SBtw, I'm using S24 ultra. I haven't noticed this during outdoor use.
Usually I use dark mode.

Galaxy SYou should have adaptive brightness turned on to get maximum brightness under direct sunlight. Also check if you have turned on any of below settings - turn them off
Eye comfort shield
Adaptive color tone

Galaxy SIt's unfortunate to hear about the display dimming issue you're experiencing with your new Samsung S24 Ultra, especially when compared to your backup phone, the S21, which doesn't seem to have the same issue. While it's normal for displays to adjust brightness to some extent in direct sunlight to improve visibility and reduce glare.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Ensure that the brightness setting on your S24 Ultra is set to maximum when using it outdoors.
2. Make sure that your S24 Ultra's software is up to date. Sometimes, software updates include fixes for display-related issues.
3. If the issue persists, you can try resetting the display settings to their default values. This can sometimes resolve software-related display issues.
By following these steps, you may be able to identify and resolve the issue with the display dimming on your Samsung S24 Ultra. If the problem persists, please send us an Error Report by following the steps below.
Head to the Members app > Get Help > Error Report > Tap 'OK' to send System Log Data > Select the symptom, and include as much detail as possible.
