My Samsung S24 Ultra's microphone has malfunctioned for several days, shortly after the warranty expired. During calls, recipients frequently report that my voice sounds distant. Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem?

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

● Disconnect all accessories: Disconnect anything plugged into the headphone jack like, a selfie stick, headphone, Bluetooth, etc.
● Remove any third-party case, protective films, or any other accessory that usually comes in contact with your device.

● Restart the device: Press & hold the power key>Tap on Restart>Tap again to Restart your phone.

● Record your voice without using headphones by using a voice recorder" and playing the recorded audio:

Step 1: Navigate to the apps screen and tap on the Samsung folder.
Step 2:Tap on Voice Recorder.
Step 3: Tap on recording to record your voice then tap on Stop to save the recording.
Step 4: Tap on Save.
Step 5: Select and tap on recently recorded audio to hear the audio quality.
Note: If the recorded audio quality is good, then your microphone is working fine.

● Update the software if available: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-update-software/

● You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.
