Hello friends,

When I put my phone on tripod for recording a video, the screen gets locked after a few minutes and recording gets stopped automatically. I need to touch the screen to continue. I am missing any camera setting? Can someone help?

It looks like your phone's screen timeout or power-saving settings are interfering with video recording. Try these steps:

🔹 Fix Screen Timeout Issue:

1. Increase Screen Timeout:

Go to Settings → Display → Screen timeout → Set it to 10 minutes or 30 minutes.

2. Enable "Keep Screen On While Recording" (If available)

Open the Camera app → Settings → Look for an option like "Keep screen on while recording" and enable it.

🔹 Disable Power Saving Mode:

Go to Settings → Battery & device care → Battery → Power saving mode → Turn it off.

🔹 Allow Unrestricted Background Activity for Camera:

Go to Settings → Apps → Camera → Battery → Set to Unrestricted.

Screen timeout while recording is 10 mins.
Option 2 is not available.
Power saving is off
Battery is on optimized mode
In camera setting, 'dim screen while recording' was at 10 mins. I have turned it off. Let's see.
