When you switch the camera lens 3x to 5x and 5x to 3x at about 15 cm distance over the keyboard showing a weird shakey experience for better understanding try to focus on laptop keyboard and switch lens 3x to 5x and 5x to 3x and see the magic
Note - don't take picture of keyboard only switch 3x to 5x and 5x to 3x, watch in view finder what you experience
This issue has been raised by me and several others (as this is only in S24 Ultra and not in s23, s22 and s21 series). They are calling it not a problem but I raised question, why this not happened to other previous S series. They don't have reply. Just wait for an update. I am sure they will not resolve this issue but there would be some camera improvements overall
As per your concern, we want to inform you that the Ultra-wide, Wide, and telecamera lenses are physically located in different positions, there is also a difference in view angle, similar to eye parallax.
Thus, changing the zoom ratio leads to a camera lens shift which in turn causes a subtle change in view angle. Also, when changing the zoom ratio quickly, the preview screen may appear slightly disconnected as it takes time to switch between the Ultra-wide, Wide, and telecamera lenses.
If you move the zoom slowly, the screen transition becomes smoother.
I m totally agree with you but why this problem didn't occurred with my iPhone and oneplus devices in same scenario I tested with oneplus 7 pro and iphone 13 pro max
