Lately, I've noticed unusual heating near the camera and left side of my phone when using social media, even for short periods of 10 to 20 minutes. This is something I haven't experienced before since purchasing the phone in January 2024.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

Unusual heating issues can be concerning.

Potential Causes
1. *Software Updates*: Recent software updates might have introduced bugs or optimization issues, leading to increased heat generation.
2. *Resource-Intensive Apps*: Social media apps can be resource-intensive, causing the phone's processor to work harder and generate more heat.
3. *Malware or Viruses*: Malicious software can cause unusual heating issues by running background processes or transmitting data.
4. *Hardware Issues*: Faulty or malfunctioning hardware components, such as the camera module or battery, can cause heating issues.
5. *Overcharging*: Overcharging your phone can cause the battery to heat up.

Troubleshooting Steps
1. *Close Resource-Intensive Apps*: Ensure you're closing social media apps and other resource-intensive apps when not in use.
2. *Update Software*: Check for software updates and install the latest version.
3. *Run a Virus Scan*: Use a reputable antivirus app to scan your phone for malware or viruses.
4. *Check Battery Health*: Go to Settings > Battery > Battery health to check the battery's condition.
5. *Avoid Overcharging*: Try to keep your phone's battery level between 20% and 80% to avoid overcharging.
6. *Clean the Phone's Exterior*: Ensure the phone's exterior, especially the camera area, is free from dust and debris.
7. *Monitor Phone Temperature*: Use an app like CPU-Z or Device Monitor to monitor your phone's temperature and identify which apps or processes are causing the heating issue.

Additional Tips
1. *Contact Manufacturer Support*: Reach out to your phone's manufacturer support for further assistance or guidance.
2. *Visit a Authorized Service Center*: If the issue persists, consider visiting an authorized service center for a thorough diagnosis and potential repair.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and potentially resolve the unusual heating issue on your phone.
