I have found another great flaw of Samsung updates (in addition to earlier) nowadays.

Now when you connect a USB-C storage drive to your phone, S 23 ultra recognise (i.e. connect ) it properly and sometimes does not. The process has become the Luck by chance.

Thanks samsung for keeping a bad faith of consumers in you, as it always has been.

That's frustrating!

The inconsistent behavior of your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra when connecting a USB-C storage drive can be caused by various factors. Possible reasons:

Hardware-Related Issues
1. _USB-C port or cable issues_: The USB-C port on your phone or the cable might be damaged or faulty, causing intermittent connections.
2. _Storage drive compatibility_: The USB-C storage drive might not be fully compatible with your phone, leading to inconsistent connections.

Software-Related Issues
1. _Android or Samsung software glitches_: Temporary software issues or bugs can cause problems with USB-C connections.
2. _Settings or configuration issues_: Incorrect settings or configurations on your phone might be preventing the USB-C storage drive from connecting properly.

Other Possible Causes
1. _Power delivery issues_: The USB-C storage drive might require more power than your phone can deliver, causing intermittent connections.
2. _File system or formatting issues_: The file system or formatting of the USB-C storage drive might be incompatible with your phone, leading to connection issues.

Troubleshooting Steps
1. _Try a different USB-C cable_: Rule out any issues with the cable by trying a different one.
2. _Use a different USB-C storage drive_: Try connecting a different USB-C storage drive to your phone to see if the issue persists.
3. _Restart your phone_: A simple reboot can often resolve temporary software glitches.
4. _Check your phone's settings_: Ensure that your phone's settings are configured correctly for USB-C connections.
5. _Update your phone's software_: Ensure you're running the latest software. Go to _Settings_ > _Software update_ > _Download and install_.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to visit a Samsung authorized service center for further assistance. They can help diagnose any underlying hardware issues.
