Galaxy SI visited the service center, they said only solution is to replace the display. That too at my own expense. For what? Their mistake?

Galaxy SI have updated the latest security patch as well.
See the issue is there is a line on my display. And there is no external damage, just updated to One UI 7, got a lot of heating issue and after 1 day got first slight pink line, then now along with that green line.
I even visited the service center, they said only resolution is to replace the display but currently the "samsung free replacement policy" is only for s21 and s22 series, and it is not for s23. So I have to pay for the entire damage caused by just your update. I always trusted samsung would take care of their customers. But this is you know I'm thinking to rethink.
