Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we want to inform you that the Protect protection features optimize battery lifespan and performance while ensuring safety. These features include an adaptive battery, battery saver mode, power management, fast and wireless charging, and overheat protection.

By default, the battery protection function in Samsung is turned off, but when enabled, it limits the battery charging up to 75%- 85% to improve the overall lifespan of the battery. If you prefer to charge your battery up to 100%, you can turn off the battery protection function.

However, Kindly follow the below steps regarding the issue:

Kindly disable the battery protection mode( if enabled).

Kindly follow the standard charging procedure. Charge the device in switch-off condition for a minimum of 10 minutes.

Please check the back panel of your device's physical condition (Bulge, Swelling, or visible damage).

If the physical condition is not good: We request you to turn off the device immediately and please do not try to charge or tamper with the battery also request you to visit the service center immediately.

Update the software if available: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-update-software/

Reset your device: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-mobile-how-to-perform-a-factory-res...
