Moving a 6GB movie from Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to Samsung Galaxy Book 3, takes 10 min, Which means 10 Mb per sec.
Same file transfer at 900 Mb per sec from same laptop to another SSD installed in Same laptop.
I have tried USB- C ports, USB 3.2 A ports and all.
Tried with bunch of cables came with Samsung phones.
Somebody enlighten me.
Same with S22+
Do we need to buy cables meant for higher data transfer speeds ?
10 Mbps? really ? What Am I missing here?

Try Transferring with Quick Share option available both on S23 Ultra and Book 3. I have been using the same devices (23 Ultra &Book 3).

It's not about inconvenience.
Why is it measly 10Mbps.
I used those transfer rates back in 2008.

I think there is issue with windows and Android connectivity
when I tried to transfer data from s23 to my laptop it transfer at 10-20 Mbps
From type c external SSD to laptop about 400 Mbps
When I connected SSD directly to my s23 the transfer seeds were around 300 Mbps

Hmm this could be the only possible reason.
2023 and Windows & Android have compatibility issues is straight up pathetic.

I'd like to share my experience. I used USB 3.2 (20Gbps) cable to transfer a 6.82 GB video file to Win 11 Pro PC with Samsung Evo 980 Pro. The port on my laptop is USB 3.0 (5Gbps).
I got 72 MB/s speed (calculated by dividing time taken i.e. 1:36min).
Then I transfered the same file after disabling my Windows Defender Real Time Protection. I got 100MB/s speed (Time taken 1:10min).
