I got this phone sometime september or October(I don't remember exactly when) of last year and I have not updated the software since then even one time because there were a lot of forums, videos posts of this particular phone getting a purple line when updating. I wanna ask if it is safe to update now and not get the purple line, because it's feb now and I'm worried about device security.
It is very safe, and you don’t have to wait too long. If you have any concerns about potential issues after the update, you can choose to delay updating your phone for 10-15 days after its release.
If you are worried about security rather than camera quality ... then just update.. it's safe but as my experience... camera quality get decreased after every update
One UI 7 Update delayed due to one ui 7 incompatibility issue with most devices even after many test builds. So, samsung decided to only rollout one ui 7 for their flagship devices by the end of 2025. Until that more beta builds will be rollout for S24 series devices. Pls be pt to experience awesomeness of one ui 7. You'll experience that never experienced before.
