I have S22 (because I always loved the compact form factor .. had S10e before that) and had purchased VIP pass thinking to upgrade.

But after the release, I am not inclined.

For me, The Galaxy S25 is GOOD, but the Galaxy S22 is GOOD ENOUGH.

The S25 has its advantages, of course. It will be faster (with more RAM .. but for gaming users.. not me), has a slightly bigger battery (but AI will consume those extra 7-8% we are getting), and little brighter display (for extensive usage under direct sunlight.. again not me).

For S22, we still have 2 software updates in our kitty, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is still more than capable and camera bump is much better + safer than S25 ring style.

Only 1 issue, Its battery performance.

Yes but theoretically 300mah addition (to S22's 3700mah) with heavy AI will very unlikely give extra battery performance. I now have to wait for S26 (which is rumoured to come with new battery technology).
