Hi Folks...

So it's been almost 2 Months I'm using S25 Ultra. Pre-ordered the device, as we know the maximum benefit from Samsung will be offered at the Pre-order period. I was using S23 Ultra since Aug 2023. Bought that phone from UAE for around 73k and after 18 months of use I got an exchange value of Rs.50250/- by using Trade-in facility of Samsung.

Actually I was not planning for an Upgrade, but this Trade-in deal was quite tempting.

By Pre-booking I got other benefits worth 5K, like Free Samsung case, 12 Months Buy back guarantee, Samsung Care and most importantly getting a 512gb variant for the price of 256gb.

As always the Product comes in a slim box with Type C to Type C cable, sim ejector pin and some papers.

I had used S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra, all Flagships that has curved screens, this is the first Ultra from Samsung I'm using with Flat screen. Frankly I'm a fan of Samsung Curved screen Flagships as it easily differentiate the Flagship from the rest of the phone line ups. But it was also so hard to find a proper tempered glass or screen protector for that display and I had spend a lot of money for the same, even some premium glass came off while I was trying a new case. And most of the film Type screen guards will not properly stick at the edges leaving marks through out the sides. So in that sense im so much happy with S25 Ultra as installing a screen protector for the phone was so much easy and there is no air trapped marks and all.

In the above Image you can see how slim the Bezels are...

Even though I miss that elegant curved screens for sure, but I'm happy with the fact that the screen glass is now more secure and not prone to damages when dropped as the screen is now flushed with the Titanium metal sides.

Speaking of the Titanium Build the phone is very much lighter when compared to the S23 Ultra, I definitely felt that lightness even though the weight difference is very minute. Also I was very much afraid to use the S23 Ultra without a case as it's sides are glossy and slippery but in S25 Ultra the sides are not that much slippery and glossy. Also flat screen has the advantage of less false touches.

The Anti Reflecting screen of S25 Ultra is another great improvement I felt over the S23 Ultra and its also worth mentioning the Armour 2 protection in S25 Ultra at this point.

The next major improvement I felt is at the speaker performance of S25 Ultra which is a drastic improvement over the older generations. Also since the phone is light weight now, its quite easy to hold the device for a long period while watching movies and all.

One of the exceptional improvement in S25 Ultra is in the Battery Backup. I charged my S23 Ultra to 100 percentage and unplug the device at 10 am while leaving to office and when i return from my office at 5 PM evening the battery backup will be in between 20 - 30 percentage, but in S25 Ultra I put the phone in maximum battery protection mode and charges the phone to 95 percentage only while leaving to office and when I reach home at 5 PM the power left will be in between 50 to 60 percentage. So battery backup was exceptional, so if Samsung had provided this one with 5500mAh or higher, this one would have become a battery champ beating all those Chinese phones with 6000mAh or more battery capacities..

I'm a moderate user, I don't play games, so performance wise I have no issues with S23 Ultra, so it's quite understandable that the New S25 Ultra with its new Snapdragon Elite Chipset will be more than enough for my needs, also the S25 Ultra is not producing much heat as compared to the older phones, thanks to its new Bigger Vapour Cooling Chamber also.

Speaking of Camera, First let me say the things I like the most. And the first one is Video Quality.. Exceptional I must say, with that new Log mode and all we are getting high quality video footage from S25 Ultra and that too even in Low light. The new Audio Eraser function is mind blowing, providing the ability to remove all those unwanted noise from the footage.

Now coming to photos, this thing is again a beast. Especially in Portraits.. The S25 ultra with its 5x Optical camera allow us to take great portraits even at a distance. Previously the S23 Ultra has a 10x optical zoom, so we can't use it for portrait shots.

This pic clearly depicts how the New S25 Ultra produces naturally looking photos, as every time was showing the exact colour what I was seeing in Front, no extra boosting like older phones.

The transition between different lenses is quite unnoticeable... Below is a 10x zoom video captured by S25 Ultra, if you want to see the video in full clarity click on the link below to my Youtube

Here is a short zoom capability Video of S25 Ultra at Night

Said that the 10x optical in S23 Ultra had an edge in Zoom shots over the S25 Ultra but the Samsung camera algorithms in S25 Ultra with its newer AI capabilities is actually matching up..

With the AI features, I don't use most of them, already said the Audio Eraser was a great addition and most of the features are also coming to older ones, anyhow I like the integration of Samsung Bixby and Gemini..

Image Eraser is another AI feature I use extensively.

See my video of how Audio Eraser and Log Video works

Now the most controversial part the S-Pen.. I used the S23 Ultra for 18 months and only once I had used the S-Pen as a shutter button, so I might not even notice about the lack of Bluetooth functionality in S25 Ultra,so it's not affecting me much.

But initially I was sceptical about the placement of S-Pen as it's outer lid was a little bit exposed even though cushioned inside the Titanium Frame. Since I use the phone most of the time with a case, that issue is completely solved..

So this is my user experience with the New Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Even though the increments seems to be minor, they are all worth that much as if making a Tech piece Perfect which was already Good.. I had taken 1 hour plus to write this review, holding the S25 Ultra while I was in bed, if this was the older S23 Ultra, I would have kept the phone in bed many times, as it would have made my hands so tired , that's the difference...
