S22 ultra can't call on VoLTE !!

Hi
 Whenever I try to make phone call , the network changes from 4G to 3G even if the VoLTE triggered on!!

I didn't have this issue on my previous phones, this is the first time i face this issue 

Anyone has the same issue??

So VoLTE is Voice over LTE. LTE is 4G. 4G and above allows for calls and Internet access simultaneously. 3G cannot support it as its not fast enough in simple terms.

Sorry i did mistake in the post, i meant it always changes from 4g to 3g, even in the best areas , i never faced this issue in my old phone, i regret buying this device

Don't worry about the typo, it happens. Anyway, It is mostly got to do with the signal being transmitted from the base stations and not because of the device it self. Cause in the basement for me it's hard to get 4G (I tried with the S21 Uktra as well) but in open areas it switches but never had long interruptions where it switched to 3G from 4G

I never faced this issue in my Huawei p30 pro (two years old phone), even when the 4G is fill 📶, the s22 ultra (5 days old phone) will keep changing to 3G, and the voice quality there is horrible, anybody will help me with this or i should switch to iPhone 13 pro max ?, if this problem not solved, i will switch ، and i will warn all of my friends about this issue, this phone should be in the best shape!!

Did you switch locations or your carrier? I can't help you cause I'm not facing that issue.

I did , the same issue is happening for of the available carriers, all of them provide VoLTE, nothing worked and I'm literally depressed

Just to confirm, your. Device is updated to the latest software update right? Do restart and monitor it to see if it's the area affecting it or not.

It is to the latest software update, i did everything i could, nothing worked, nobody helped me, even the samsung customers care in my country they don't know the issue

One last option is to take it to the nearest Samsung store and let the technicians diagnose the issue. Sorry about the issue you are facing, hope its sorted
