Hi, I am facing a strange problem with my Samsung S22 Ultra as below:
During outgoing call dialling, a loud static noise (like RF noise in radios) coming through the earpiece. It happens randomly with both SIM cards. After restarting it works as normal for sometime and again happens at a later time or days. Happens with both SIM card slots with any operators in local or roaming modes. Tried enable disable WiFi calling, VoLTE calling, WiFi, BT, data package, etc but the problem continues.
The only workaround found was to route the audio through speakerphone or Bluetooth and return back to earpiece which clears the noise immediately. It is very annoying and disturbing during the calls. Anyone else faced this issue?
Any solution other than giving to service centre?
@Samsung Support:
Are you aware of this issue?
Any firmware or software update can solve this?

Same issue I also face for first time yesterday. Restarted the phone and all well as nothing else helps.

Sure it's some software glitch that Samsung should get rid of quick with an device update. First thought my new S22Ultra has broken speakers but thankfully that's not the case.

I have the same issue - i turn off wifi, and it works normally - but it is a very obtrusive noise, and its so bad I dont want the phone anywhere near my ear.  You can hear it on speakerphone as well, but not if I have bluetooth headset connected.

Hi,

Please make sure that your device is updated to the last software update.

You may try to reset the network settings, from the settings > general > reset > reset network settings. ( CAUTION: This menu deletes all the network information such as Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth).

Kindly try to remove the SIM card from your device for some time, then reinstall it again, after that try to call and dial.

If the issue still exists, you should visit one of the authorized service centers for a further check, and you may refer to the link below:

It is the end of 2023 when I'm writing this, and I hope someone at Samsung or a tech Youtuber reads this. I got a S22 Ultra for my father last year and was facing the exact same issue as mentioned above. The troubleshooting steps that I tried were - Restarting the phone, updating to the latest software update, upgrading all apps to the latest version, resetting the network settings, switching SIM cards and even factory resetting the phone, but NONE worked. Even after trying everything, a loud static noise like RF noise in radios kept coming and that was being heard on both ends - the caller and the receiver. I took the phone to a Samsung service center as located using Samsung India website, but they weren't ready to accept my problem since it was difficult to reproduce - not every call was having the issue. My father was so puzzled and troubled that I decided to switch him to Pixel 7 Pro instead. And that was end to all my problems or so I thought.

This year I got myself a Samsung S23 Ultra and things were going smooth until yesterday when I started facing the exact same issue. I request Samsung to look into this, be it hardware of software, please acknowledge this and fix it. (I am on One UI 6.0 Nov 2023 patch level)
