My S22 ultra [Snapdragon] lasts hardly half day after a full charge.... I am not using any power hungry apps..just browsing, what'sapp, Instagram..some limited calls..that's all.. Battery life is so poor.Disappointed..😒☹️ What about other owners of S22 ultra?

The S22 Ultra takes a week or so for the AI to adapt to your usage. That being said there are otehr ways to increase your battery life.

Some changes I did:
1. 5G consumes a lot of battery, switch to 3G most of the time.
2. Limit background usuage for apps used the least and allow the AI to put thne to sleep or deep sleep.
3. Turn on adaptive battery.

And there are many other ways as well.

Cheers 💕

Yes..may be I should follow this idea .
But really Snapdragon 8 gen 1 chipset is not battery friendly..always we need to worry about battery life..even in 2022..it's a pity..

I'm an Galaxy S22 Ultra user from Europe with the Exynos 2200 processor  and I am astonished to hear, that the Snapdragon is  responsible for a short battery  life. The Exynos processors are often criticized and  lots of people would prefer  to have the Snapdragon in Europe. They say, that the battery life is much better and also the photos should be better. Perhaps the accu of yor S22 U is brocken? Even with my Exynos I have enough battery  for one day.

Oh.. That's great...but I don't know why for my phone needs Charing at least 2 times a day... battery life horrible...with TechoGenuine's advice and following his settings I am getting little better battery life..all with lots of better features turned off..Then I think what's the point in having a premium phone without these features?

On my S22U I only turned off the adaptive battery and I get 9 hours SoT. Sometimes 3rd party apps causes battery drain in background even if you don't use them. How about you check on device care and see which apps drains the most battery I might be able to help.

This is my old video https://youtu.be/o32KO_fDQVs for maximum SoT (managed to pull 11 hours of SoT on Galaxy S21U)

You mean turned off the adaptive battery option? Really?
Then I should try that option my friend..

There is actually a lot of users from my community and even the tech savvy who confirmed that by turning that off it has boosted their battery life. Because what adaptive battery does is it constantly learns your usage for optimal battery life but you may experience overheat, performance drops and battery drain (based on my test).

I also noticed from your other replies that you use 5G sometimes, I advise you to turn that off for the day and try out only 4G.

This is the response from Samsung about 5G.

"At this time, the 5G networks are only used for data connections and are not yet capable of carrying phone calls and messages. Your phone will need to maintain a connection to the 3G or LTE network in addition to the 5G network so that phone calls, text messages, and data will be delivered consistently.

Because your phone is connected to multiple networks simultaneously, the battery will drain faster than one would typically expect."
