S22 ultra JIO ESIM not working

I have got an unlocked s22 ultra graphite color model from USA . Indian carriers are working fine in this one , but I am unable to configure JIO ESIM on my device despite completing all the steps on my own, just to confirm the esim process I tested out on iphone 12 too it worked .

But not working with jio ESIM , I am unable to add the The SIM code from data plan it says "your current plan isnt ready contact your operator" .

Whereas , when I went jio store they tried but the were not able to convert my to esim on this model satting that this could be due to USA model the device isn unlocked so I dont see how that's gonna work ?

Please help to answer whether I would be able to use any Indian Esim (as to use dual sim mode - one Esim and one physical sim ) on this device or not if yes I can port to that operator as well .

First convert e-sim to sim
Please check your email ID is Update in jio
Then try to go e-sim in s22 ultra

please carefully read before answering , it is clearly mentioned that I have already passed the steps that you have mentioned.

There are a lot of restrictions on imported Samsung phones. Like - call recording won't work, for some wifi calling doesn't work, some reported 4g plus(carrier aggregation) is not working, etc. So this may also be such an issue.

I am not sure bro. There are very few users on this platform who uses imported phones. And not all are reporting same problems, strangely.

Did you approach a Samsung service center? If not, may be they can help as they might have already faced similar issues.

They are clueless and uninformed staff , they didn't even know that s22 ultra comes in this color 🤦🤦

Thanks man I appreciate it , meanwhile I will buy a sim from another carrier n will try to use that as esim if that works then i will straight away just port my existing jio sim
