Okay, so here’s my rant about my Samsung S22. I’m seriously fed up, and if I’m being real, I’m kinda heartbroken too. I’ve been using this phone for almost three years now, and it used to be my best used smarphone. It’s not fresh out of the box anymore, I get that, but come on, it was crazy expensive! I figured it’d keep going strong for a while longer. Lately, though, it’s been a total nightmare. It’s so laggy I want to scream, it shuts off randomly like it’s got a mind of its own, and half the time, it’s just a useless brick in my hand which acts like a heater as it heats up so much. I can’t even scroll Instagram or shoot a quick text without it freezing up or dying on me.

I took it to the service center, hoping they’d fix it, and they just shrugged and said, “Yeah, it’s a motherboard issue.” Awesome. Not only does that sound pricey, but I’m sitting there like, “Wait, what? How did this even happen?” And here’s the real punch to the gut, it all started right after I downloaded the latest One UI update. Before that, we were golden; no crashes, no slowdowns, just me and my phone living our best life. Now? It’s like that update flipped a switch and broke something major, leaving me with this hot mess.
Three years isn’t ancient for a phone this high-end, is it?
Samsung’s top-tier stuff was supposed to last. But now I’m stuck with a motherboard problem that magically showed up after the update. I can’t shake the feeling something’s fishy here. Did the update fry the hardware? Is this some sneaky flaw they’re not admitting to? All I know is I miss my reliable phone, the one that didn’t ditch me mid-call or make me look like a fool waiting for it to restart. Anyone else in this boat facing the same issue?

Hey, so I tried something.... I opened up my phone’s back panel (got a local repair shop to help with that part) disassembled it and applied some thermal paste, the same stuff I use for my laptop. Unorthodox, I know! But as of now, the phone’s running perfectly fine... no lags, no random shutdowns. Just thought I’d share the experiment! 😃
TMI - I forgot to connect the front camera and now need to disassemble it completely AGAIN... T_T
