Yesterday received a Device Care update. After that update I charged to 10% and put it in standby mode. Noticed within 3 hrs 53 mins 8%  gone. Which is extremely high. When I checked the usage, only 4 apps listed 1. Google Play services, 2. Google message 3. Finder 4. One UI home. But when I open one by one from apps settings, every apps shoes battery usage as "0" only.

I really don't know what's samsung software developer team doing. Day by day the update worsening the battery life.

I mainly switched off many settings and put all the apps in sleeping mode. Also did wipe cache and data.

Dear Samsung member,

Greetings from Samsung customer support.

Thank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.
Battery optimization helps you to boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:

Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory

Kindly turn off the smart features of the device and other connectivity features when not in use, which will eventually help you to reduce battery power consumption (smart features such as Motion gestures in advance feature and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, etc.).

Please follow the below steps:
1. Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel.
2. Tap on Bluetooth, Location/GPS, Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspot, NFC, etc. to turn off.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report).

Thank you for writing to Samsung.
Warm regard,
Samsung customer support

I was able to solve the battery drain issue in my S21FE phone which is running in Android 13. The culprit is the put apps to deep sleep option. After i disabled it then the battery drop was just 2% for 6hrs. Earlier it used to be 15% to 20% of battery drop for 6hrs standby. The Google play services, UI and Finder was running continuously when kept with automatic deep sleep. After the change no background process runs in background. I have not done any additional developer options on process killing or power saving mode. Just the regular Android options workout adaptive battery use and deep sleep apps option disabled. Do check and let me know guys. Thank you

So I need to remove all apps from deep sleep or just toggle off suspend apps that are not being used? Your logic doesn't make sense, the deep sleep feature is to save battery.

Yes you need to disable the deep sleep completely. When you enable deep sleep the Google play services, finder and UI is running in the background to check the apps whether it's being used or not. Samsung has given the Adaptive battery with a different name as deep sleep. You need to disable both if you want to save standby battery. Shared you my today's screenshot.
