Updated just yesterday and the experience so far is very good. Couple of improvement I noticed.
1. Thermal management: a big improvement, I guess. Before this update even during normal operations the phone used to heat up dramatically like it was telling me to stop using the phone right away. But now it has improved significantly.
2. Battery Life: as a result of point 1, the battery life also appears to have improved. During standby, before this update, the phone drained for absolutely no reason! 15-20% battery used to drain overnight. I thought it was probably because of weak network in my area and it did contribute but the drop was still unusual. Last night the data shows that the battery levels remained more or less stable, probably a drop of about 5-6% which is okay considering the weak mobile network. Will continue to observe over coming days.
3. Animation and transitions: super cool and consistent across the UI, loving it so far!
Other stuff I feel are only cosmetic changes which don't really matter that much to me. The main concerns for this device have been addressed and that's enough for me to cheer. I will update more later if I find anything that is worth updating.
