S22 - Motherboard Issue

Hi all,

My friends S22 suddenly stopped working today morning.
He updated his phone 10 days back from UI 5.0 to UI 6 which he got in the OTA update.

Currently the phone is not charging, not turning on, nothing is happening at all
He took it to the service center and they didn't even opened it but told him that its motherboard issue and it costs Rs.35000 for the repair.
The Phone is 1 year 2 months old and no warranty.

Can you guys please suggest what can be done?

A standerd life of Samsung phone's is about 12-15 months . After completion of these months his problems start. I am also facing a display issue after 15 months in my S22 ultra & repairable cost is 22,000/-.

I have been using my s21 ultra for more than 24 months, and there is no such issues and also still now my phone is working very well. No such problems I have encountered with any of my Samsung phones, including even s10 from more than 3 yrs. You don't comment something and all.

I used s8 for more than 4 years and never had hardware issue ... idk what dumb reason you have for this claim

In general this issues are occuring with heavy users who uses their phone to much heavily, also who uses rough and tough, samsung knows very well about how to make lower range phone, mid range phone and higher range (premium) phone so very few users gets these all problems because of their different type of phone use else nothing can happen with higher value range smartphones from samsung.

Ok contact customer care it doesn't work than file a complaint in consumer court you will get replacement or refund any thing first contact customer care

Bro he said his phone is out of warranty so no refund or replacement will be given to him i think.

In this scenario also consumer court can't help because phone is out of warranty.
