Galaxy SI’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with what’s happened to my Samsung S22 (Indian variant). Ever since the One UI 7 update, my phone has become completely unusable. It keeps freezing, restarting randomly, and even went into a bootloop for so long that it literally burned the startup logo into my screen!
Now the system UI constantly crashes, the camera and even basic apps like Google don’t work at all. I’ve tried everything soft reset, hard reset via recovery mode, clearing cache but nothing fixes it. I haven’t been able to properly use my phone since the update.
When I took it to the service center, they told me the motherboard needs to be replaced and my phone is just out of warranty. This is absolutely unacceptable. The device was working fine until your software update broke it. Why should I have to pay for a major hardware repair caused by your faulty update?
Please escalate this issue urgently. I rely on this phone for work and daily life, and it’s been a nightmare. I need this resolved ASAP either with a proper fix or a replacement. This shouldn’t be happening to a flagship device barely out of warranty.

Galaxy SI understand that updates are tested, but in this case, the update has caused:
• Bootloops resulting in screen burn of the startup logo
• Continuous System UI crashes
• Inability to use essential apps including Camera and Google
• Complete instability making the phone unusable
I’ve already performed all standard troubleshooting steps, including resets and cache wipes. The issue is not isolated, as others have also reported post-update problems online.
Your suggestion to pay for a motherboard replacement out of warranty due to an update you pushed is unacceptable. This is a clear case of software triggering hardware failure, and it should be acknowledged as such. A flagship device like the Galaxy S22 should not suffer catastrophic failure from an official update, especially just outside warranty.
I am requesting:
• A full investigation of this specific case
• Free repair or replacement of the affected hardware
• Official documentation or acknowledgment that this issue is being escalated
Please do not send another template response. I rely on this device for work and personal use, and this situation is unacceptable. If not resolved, I will be forced to explore other escalation channels, including social media, consumer forums, and legal options.
I await your urgent and proper action on this matter.
Sincerely,
Khush

Galaxy SSamsung is a cheater and not a trustworthy brand and till now samsung has not given any statement about all this.
Samsung should give a warranty exception or “courtesy repair” due to the update being the cause.
