Galaxy S1. 5g usage for downloading update.
2. Too many applications running in background causing device to heat up while it's downloading update.
3. Updating your device while charging your phone.
Some of these things cause excessive heat and updating your phone while it's heating causes green/white lines.
What people need to do is, download update on wifi or if that's not available turn off 5g after downloading update and let your phone cool for some time.
You can also turn off phone for some time and install the update later.
