Galaxy SHi, I encountered an issue when doing a software update where I'm now stuck on a "Downloading..." screen. I was searching the forums for an answer but the closest I got was this: https://rR2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-M/Build-id-does-not-match-with-the-reference-Bug-in-M31/...
Here's some pics of the issue: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ImSNmgV1hdDJIlwGul9ohuTd_IPrntV0?usp=share_link
Basically, pressing Volume Down key + Side key for more than 7 seconds restarts the phone, which turns black, then the samsung logo appears and it immediately reverts back to this mode, with the bluish background, the big "Downloading..." in the middle, and the red exclamation mark at the top left with the words "partition super Reason SUPER: Build-id does not match with the reference SUPER:55316809R, VBMETA:53087789R,BL:53087806". Note the bar code missing in the bottom right corner, so this isn't Odin mode or whatever it's called.
Here's what I've tried to fix this:
- Pressing Volume Down key + Side (power) key for more than 7 seconds and then waiting.
- Pressing Volume Down key + Side (power) key for more than 7 seconds and then pressing Volume Up key + Side (power) key, which I was trying to use to get to recovery mode and do a reset from there. But it only gets to 25% and then crashes back to the the "Downloading..." screen.
- Pressing Volume Down key + Side (power) key for more than 7 seconds and then pressing Volume Up key + Volume Down key. This gets me into the screen that says Downloading... but also has the bar code at the bottom and some information at the top left (like CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official and a DID number.)
Thank you for your time.
