S21 - Getting notifications for incoming calls to SIM1 while on call through SIM2

Hi all,

I am new with dual-SIM feature, so excuse me if the question looks weird :)

I've got a galaxy S21 with physical SIM1 (personal purposes) and eSIM2 (work purposes).

If I get an incoming call to SIM1 while on another SIM1 call - I get all relevant notifications, everything works well.

If I get an incoming call to eSIM2 while on another eSIM2 call - everything works perfect as well.

BUT:

If I get a call to eSIM2 while I'm on another SIM1-call, or vice versa, getting a call to SIM1 while on eSIM2-call, I don't get any notification for the missed call.

The caller thinks I will see his missed call and is waiting me to call him back, while I don't get any notification for this missed call.

Is there any way to sort this issue out? I believe I'm not the first encountering this problem :)

So call forwarding on another Sim for both numbers is the solution 🤔

It might be.. because you told i checked all settings and found that can be useful. For me it was set from default.

When you are using dual Sim and you are on call via sim1 and someone tries to call you on sim2 then they will get a message that the number is out of coverage area as the other Sim goes on standby. You can try this by calling from any other phone

I was having OnePlus before and it was like this only. But in my s22 ultra i get calls from both numbers even if i am on call on one.
Check your settings: phone -> call settings -> supplementary service -> call forwarding for each sim
If not set, set the alternative sim as call forwarding for the other

And call forward sim 2 to sim 1 always.
