S20 Ultra (Exynos Processor) is 🤴

Recently a YouTuber called MrWhoseTheBoss published a video comparing S20 ultra snapdragon 865 and exynos chip. According to him exynos processor is 20% slower.

Facts #Snapdragon processor only ships in US and Samsung has to pay royalty to Snapdragon for each phone sold.

#Exynos can be clocked to surpass snapdragon processors but overall functionality is taken into consideration by the company. 

#Have you used the device? I am a s20 ultra owner and trust me when I say this in real life there is no lag whatsoever. Everything is buttery smooth and snappy. 

#Benchmark tests can never be trusted to examine a device performance . One + have fooled people in the past by getting a higher score by tweaking their devices .

Moreover Mrwhosetheboss had a review unit.  So rather than bashing samsung. Use the device first and judge the phone.  No offense youtubers  create videos bashing brands for views and subscribers.  One last thing  s20 ultra in India costs 13 thousand less and it's not a 5g version too as 5g is nonexistent in India.

Hey Jackson. I am using the S20 ultra for oved a week now and sorry to say, it is a lot slower than even the oneplus 6 which is my secondary phone for specific use cases, let alone the iphone 11 pro max which i sold to get this unit because of samsung's marketing hype. Dont get me wrong, the phone does all the basics right.. performance is buttery smooth, apps are in memory most of the time. However, users dont spend a lakh for basics.
Gaming on this phone is poor to be lenient. I see frequent frame drops and games like Call of Duty and PUBG mobile do not go above 25-30 fps. In comparison, the oneplus 6 gives me 60fps without any issues. iphone is in another league. I can send a video for everyone to see for themselves.
Battery- Drains out by evening. My previous iphone 11 pro max lasted way longer.

All i am saying is exynos is not optimized for intensive usage like gaming and video editing and in this, Mr. whosetheboss is spot on. When users are paying close to 1 lakh rupees for a phone, it should be ready for all the use cases possible, right from the get go. Not via updates. And this one is not. Atleast oneplus does not charge a lakh for an unfinished product. And if apple ever launched a phone with as many gaps as the exynos s20 ultra, people would go crazy.
Everything, from the experience of buying the phone (if you traded in an old phone for this device, you know you spent atleadt 20 minutes waiting for activation.. not good) to the product itself needs to be spot on. And this one is not.
Oneplus uses the SD845 i believe and thats the only reason for the better performance i see on games, as on all other matters the s20 ultra is better. So yes, if i am paying 1 lakh i am okay paying 10k more, and i think all users of this phone are, but atleast that would not necessitate the need for posts and forums like this. And i definitely dont agree to buying an inferior product when the same product is available overseas in a better variant.
P.S on the cheaper comment, note 10 plus was cheaper in the US and it had the SD 855.. india has exynos. Please look at the reviews of those. My brother has a note 10 plus and the same graphics issues plague him to date. It is not cost or royalty, it is profit per unit that seems to matter to samsung and the notion that they want to make better profits from Indian consumers is what makes me hate them for the move. They can launch SD in Snapdragon flip z, Galaxy fold in India and not for the mainstream S20 ultra? Just wrong.

@atanu92 not an avid gamer so cannot comment on it. But I do agree when you pay such a huge price for a device there should not be any problems in the first place.

Have you ever used S20 Ultra with Snapdragon variant, I'm sure you haven't if you would have you would never feel exynos variant fast. People here are not dumb to urge samsung to release snapdragon variant in india. Just use S20 ultra with snapdragon variant and you will definitely feel the major drawback of exynos against snapdragon.
