S20 FE 5G camera degradation after Android 12

Before the android 12 update, I was extremely satisfied the the S20 FE 5G's camera. Yes, the selfie camera had clarity issues, but the rear camera was simply a GEM. Pro grade picture quality. 

And then, Android 12 update happened. The entire camera department on my phone has taken a hit. The clarity has drastically reduced in normal mode and the 3x optical zoom has simple become a joke now, post the update. Too much noise in the picture. 

Anyone else facing this issue? Or maybe, do you know if this problem might be fixed with a software update?

Yes, it's widespread and done on purpose. Keep reporting to Samsung. Only then we will have a solution

This is the level of photography the lens was capable of, "before" the android 12 update. "Now", it doesn't even come close. Produces image with slightly blurred edges as if painted. Basically the clarity has be drastically reduced.

I have a same problem with camera quality. I choose this phone after i test the camera quality with my friend phone then i decide to buy it. But after update to android 12, quality of camera dropped hugly. Now its look like 10 years old phone. Im angry aboute it. I want it fix with new update soon!

I know the feeling. Probably Samsung should be able to fix it. Let's hope for the best!

i dont see any hope , one ui 4.0, then one ui 4.1 , then several , security updates , but nothing related to correct our camera quality.
