Hi,

Has anyone removed the factory fitted screen protector?

Asking as I want to do so and replace it with a Skinomi matte finish screen protector.

Yes i removed that plastic film & applied a full on edge to edge screen protector🙂

Did you encounter any problem while removing it and would its removal void the warranty?

I'm referring to the screen protector, not the plastic that the S20 FE is wrapped in.

Are you not aware that the S20 FE comes with a factory fitted screen protector?

I tried removing the factory fitted screen protector; it isn't easy, it's applied very well - so I didn't remove. I'll wait till it begins peeling off itself - let's see how long it remains on the smartphone.

Samsung should have applied a matte finish screen protector.

Where they apply the screen protector
They will remove it easily
I did it there only for my s20 fe

I once did for my S7 Edge, and the guy at the shop messed up the application; there were specks of dirt under the screen protector. Since then, I have applied the screen protector myself, and I do a fairly satisfactory job.

I just tried once to remove the factory fitted screen protector, and the corner didn't lift.

I have always used Skinomi matte finish screen protectors, and I am waiting for the one I ordered from the USA (it's not available with Amazon.in).

For temporary measures, I ordered a matte screen protector from Amazon.in.
