Hey there,

Ever since the June update, I've been having problems using my Jio SIM on my phone. It automatically disconnects and doesn't have data sometimes, and also doesn't let me call.

To fix this, I have tried the hard reset, restarting and resting all network settings, none of them work.

The only option I'm left with is to physically remove and insert the SIM. But it disconnects again after a while.

Is anyone facing the same issue? And do you have any solution to this? Also do you think this is a SIM problem or the problem of the Phone?

Thanks.

It is same with every handset of samsung , 5g services of jio are not working on samsung,
Sometime you wont be able to download applications from play syore using mobile networks, some time networks start dancing only , its too bad and irritating

But not just 5G, I am facing issues with the entire SIM itself. The SIM just gets disconnected....

Bro, it's the problem from jio's side, not Samsung's. Actually 5G is not fully stable yet so this type of network problems are expected. Even sometimes my network gets unregistered & shows emergency calls only. I turn on & off airplane mode then only network comes back...😅

Maybe it's time to shift to a different network then. I have the same issue but I have to physically re-insert the SIM to get back the connection....

But bro, i wouldn't suggest you to shift to another network operator. Bcoz currently Jio has huge advantages over airtel & Vi when comes to 5G. As you already know that Currently Vi hasn't started it's 5G services yet, so let's just not talk about Vi...

Coming to airtel, we'll know that airtel has opted for Non Standalone 5G, whereas jio has Standalone 5G. Jio has an complete edge in 5G over airtel. Firstly it's an independent 5G network. Unlike airtel it's not using it's 4G infrastructure to provide 5G. Secondly Jio has VoNR services which airtel doesn't has, as it's Non Standalone 5G. Thirdly, Jio has 700mHz spectrum which can provide better indoor coverage than airtel...

Also Jio has better download speeds than airtel...
So i would suggest you to stick with jio & wait until 5G network coverage becomes stable & substantially complete, so that you could get the best experience...

Note: I'm not promoting jio here. I'm only sharing my experience...
