Galaxy S1. Why was it removed?
Samsung has integrated more notification management features directly into the One UI System Settings to reduce the load on the Good Lock app, making the system more stable.
2. The Official Alternative: Notification History
If you want to ensure you never lose a notification even after clicking "Clear All," use this:
Go to Settings > Notifications.
Tap on Advanced Settings.
Select Notification History and turn it ON.
Even if you clear everything, you can always find the last 24 hours of logs here.
3. Use "Notification Reminder" for Important Apps:
If you don't want to miss specific notifications (like Work or Bank alerts):
Go to Settings > Notifications > Wireless Emergency Alerts (or search for Notification Reminders).
Turn it ON for specific apps. Your phone will remind you every few minutes if the notification is still unread.
4. Feedback to Developers:
Since NotiStar is part of the Good Lock family, the developers listen to the community.
Open Good Lock.
Go to the NotiStar module.
Tap the three dots (⋮) or the "Feedback" icon and request the "Lock Notification" feature. Samsung often brings back features if enough "Star Members" ask for them!
📌 Note: Currently, there is no direct "Lock" button in NotiStar, but "Notification History" is the safest way to keep track. If this helped, please click (⋮) and "Accept as Solution". 💙
