Rear view camera not working with whatsapp video calls in S24+

During whatsapp video call, unable to switch to rear view camera from front camera mode. While, the rear camera is working with other apps. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled and installed whatsapp again but the same issue persists. Could you please help. The call stucks on doing so.

Checked with whatsapp, it is not their issue, working with rest models only Samsung S series facing it.

Please fix it, it is one of the basic functionality. This happened recently.

To share the log file: Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> Select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.

Hi man, I've just found a solution for this issue. I also have this device, and I was facing the same problem. I figured out when I try to add an effect (magic stick logo) like touch up for example (mask logo), the rear camera works perfectly on WhatsApp video calls. The best part of it is that in the next video calls, WhatsApp will remember this so you don't have to switch this effect again. I believe it's a glitch of the app which will be fixed completely in the next versions.

Finally, it got fixed. I recieved an upgrade 2 days back and post that it works fine now.

I have this issue after recent update. Camera gets stuck when you try to flip it during a call

Same issue. Bought S24 just a day before. Configured whatsapp today and very disappointed to see back camera not working on video call on whatsapp.
More disappointing that this problem is faced by many users but no solution from samsung
