Samsung has started releasing a new update for the Quick Share app with version 13.6.11.7. The latest update rolling out with new features and improvements to the app.
The update integrates Google Nearby Share to enable content sharing with nearby Android devices. This means that Samsung users can now use Quick Share to send and receive files from other Android devices that support Google Nearby Share. This expands the compatibility and convenience of Quick Share, which was previously limited to Samsung devices only.
In addition, the update has also increased the upload limit per file when creating QR codes and using share to contacts. Users can now share files up to 5GB in size, up from the previous limit of 3GB. This allows users to share larger files without compromising the quality or speed of the transfer.
The update is rolling out to Samsung devices that support Quick Share via Galaxy Store. Users can check for the update by going to the Galaxy Store app, clicking the Menu option, and tapping on the Updates button.
