Proximity sensor not working

I have updated our phone galaxy s8 last month of 1st September 2018 and after update our proximity sensor sometime working and sometime not

1. What is the patching problem?
2. If that is patching problem what thats problem is solve in second update?

go to your samsung members over there is a section diagnose your device and check your proximity sensor. if its working then it must be some software issue so reset your phone. if it isn't working then its hardware issue so go to your local samsung service center.

@Gauravworld If you have tried every option, please talk to customer support for remote control support, they might be able to help you. If none works, please visit nearest service center.

same problem with my s8. My phone is of other country and samsung update changed the binary number which is causing problem and you cannot downgrade firmware.
visit samsung care and they replace your motherboard which will cost 18k to 22k.
samsung did not care there customers they make money by this way or you will be forced to upgrade.
