go to your samsung members over there is a section diagnose your device and check your proximity sensor. if its working then it must be some software issue so reset your phone. if it isn't working then its hardware issue so go to your local samsung service center.

same problem with my s8. My phone is of other country and samsung update changed the binary number which is causing problem and you cannot downgrade firmware.
visit samsung care and they replace your motherboard which will cost 18k to 22k.
samsung did not care there customers they make money by this way or you will be forced to upgrade.
