Problems with using UAE version phone in India

Hi. I would like to know the drawbacks or limitations of using a Galaxy phone bought in UAE in India. For example, do payment apps like BHIM, Samsung Wallet etc work in India if the phone is a UAE or US version phone? I heard that when you use the UAE version phone in India, you won't receive the updates when other Indian phones receive it, but receive it only when the UAE version receives the update. So are there anyother quirks or limitations to using a different region phone in India?

I dont think so i am also using the same version butbi am receiving the uodates time to time

Thank you for the reply. Do you receive the update on the same day as the Indian version of your phone model receives the update?

Canadian S22 ultra have many issues ... Even 5g is not getting supported in India

Other country purchased samsung devices have no constraints unless it's unlocked to all sim carriers. Payment apps also work flawlessly.

As per updates, there's no difference as such. Update schedule is hardly one to two days back & forth but on time.

It's different that samsung has very limited real life oriented practical features they give us through one ui. That's the limitation of samsung anyway.
For a better & featurefull of Android experience, my suggestion will be to look for any other brand, not trashsung 🤮

Thanks for the reply. May I know if you use a foreign version phone? If so which version is it and what payment apps do you use? My friend uses a UAE version phone and has problem getting BHIM verified.

Personally I like Samsung and One UI. Ironically I am someone who liked TouchWiz, which was apparently not liked by many. From the beginning I have found Samsung's phone UI to be intuitive. I have had difficulties in other UI's. I could be ignorant. So may I know as to what features you like in other phones?

Samsung's so called touchwiz is very much bogus and featureless thing compared to current competition

Touchwiz is very old. So I don't know how it makes any sense to compare it to the current competition.

I had the same problem... no Indian app works perfectly. Samsung wallet also doesn't work. I have canadian S22 ultra .... globally only iphone is perfect samsung is not fully globally perfect... i felt dissatisfied and cheated too
