Battery backup decrease in s23 uktra after few months and device heat up in normal task
Fix this issue ...

So true. My SOT in bins. Down to 3 to 4 hours after last update.

Guys, it is not the software, it is battery, battery is cooked after 500 charge cycles, check your battery charge cycles, if it is past 500 charge cycles change the battery, Replaced battery for my 1.5 years old S23 ultra, before battery replacement I got around 4-5 hrs Sot, after 7-8 hrs sot

Go to samsung authorized service centre, and tell them to check the battery charge cycle

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concerns.

▶ Galaxy device Battery drainage issue: Note: Charge in one go instead of charging many times as it affects the life span of battery and battery performance.

1. Perform Battery Optimization: Go to Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage, and Memory.

2. Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. when not in use.

3. Check device network fluctuation.
Avoid usage in areas with low network/fluctuation.

4. Adjust screen timeout settings: Go to Settings > Display > Screen timeout > Select the minimum screen timeout.

5. Check which application is or interface is using more battery from device care and try to update app or avoid using that app.

6. Turn off auto sync of e-mails, app data etc.
Open notification panel > Turn off auto sync option.

▶ Galaxy device heating issue: 1.Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and other connectivity features when not using them.
2. Decrease the screen brightness.
3. Close background running apps.
4. Uninstall the unnecessary apps.
5. Reduce long duration of graphics intensive gaming sessions as it may cause heating issue.
6. Avoid usage of mobile phone when charging.

7. Update software: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install > Check for software update > If Software update available > Download > Downloading updates > Install now
Note: Your phone will restart after the update is installed.

8. Reset the device:
IMPORTANT:
• Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
• Remember google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
• If you do not remember it, then reset, (Forgot password) your google account.
• For this:
• Open Gmail (https://accounts.google.com/servicelogin) > forgot password >Select ""try another way"" > Next > Enter a new password > Next

Please follow the below steps to reset the device: Settings > General Management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup > tap on Factory data reset (This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps)

I would suggest to clear cache partition after update...it was facing the heating issue after Feb security patch, but after cache partition cleared, it got fixed and I am also observing more battery backup now
