I'm having a Samsung Galaxy S20+ (SM-G985F)

All of a sudden my phone started showing a vertical pink line, it doesn't disppear on restarting. I tried turning on in safe mode, but no solution. I didn't drop my phone. There's no damage to the screen. It appeared all of a sudden.

Will this be fixed in a future update? Or should i replace it? If i have to replace it, will it be done for free of cost?

Anyone else facing this issue?
I'm on Android 12.(oneui4.0)

That pink line will be increased day by day. Better to go to service center for detecting this spot line cause. If your phone is under warranty then u need to be replaced it

They will obviously ask him to change the display at 12k. This is not fair from Samsung. Many s20pls users have reported this same issue, green or pink vertical line.

From the first glance it's obvious that it's a hardware issue. Replacing your screen is the only way if you notice the pink line even during boot.

Also please take a BACKUP as soon as possible. Will save you lots.

Yes.. It's an issue with s20plus devices. Almost 20 -25 people have reported this here. Poor hardware from samsung might be the cause.
