Hi All,

I’m starting this thread because I, like many others, am experiencing a vertical pink line on my Galaxy S23 display after the recent Android 15 / One UI 7 security update.

🛠Device Condition:

  • My phone is in mint condition

  • No drops, pressure, or water damage

  • The pink line appeared only after the software update

This issue isn’t isolated — it’s happening to hundreds of users globally across S21, S22, and now S23 devices. In many cases, Samsung has offered free display replacements under goodwill, especially when there's no physical damage involved.

🧾 I visited the service center, but they refused to replace the screen under goodwill and asked me to pay. That’s unfair when the fault was triggered by an official update.

We S23 users need to stand together and raise this issue. Let's urge Samsung to:

  1. Acknowledge this as a known issue

  2. Extend the one-time free screen replacement policy to S23

  3. Provide a permanent solution or fix

Hey bro, really sorry to hear this — you're not alone.
Several users across different Galaxy models (including S23, A73, S21, etc.) have reported vertical pink or green lines after updating to One UI 7 (Android 15). It's frustrating, especially when there's no physical damage involved.

Here’s what you can try:

🔹 Visit the Samsung Service Center as soon as possible and show them the issue.
🔹 Some users have gotten free screen replacements even out of warranty — depending on region, device condition, and escalation.

⚠️ Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t officially accepted this as a widespread issue yet, but the more users report and raise their voice, the better chance we all have.

👉 Please tap the 3 dots on helpful comments and select “Accept Solution” — this shows Samsung that it's a real and recurring issue.

Let’s stand together and push for accountability. 🙏

This is happening across all the models. Premium S series is more affected, specially with exynos processors. Samsung hasn't accepted this as widespread problem due to their one ui 7 update while oneplus has come with a very bold policy of life time warranty for green line issue across all the models.

I too faced this issue after the update. But when I contacted with the customer support they told it's a new news to them and it's not because of their software update. And as per the company norms they can't give free replacement. But the funny part is that the are loyal to customers. They will provide good service from their service point if we are paid.
