Test the Hardware: Open the phone dialer and type *#0*# to access the test menu. Tap on Red, Green, and Blue individually. If the line disappears during these color tests, it is highly likely a software issue. If it remains, your display connector or screen panel is physically damaged, in this case visit service center they will replace display at free cost.

I had a similar issue with a green line. The screen was replaced free of cost since my mobile is not more than 3 years old.
