OneUI 7 Battery drain issue

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to know that is every Samsung phone user encountering this battery drain issue in all their phones?

Mine is Samsung S24 FE which I bought last month, so when it had by default OneUI 6, there was no issue but as soon as I updated in order to attain updated features of Galaxy AI, the battery drain issue started

I bought the Galaxy S23 Ultra for ₹1,00,000 — expecting full flagship support. Now, Samsung is giving features like AOD wallpaper dimming, AI Audio Eraser, smooth zoom, and more only to newer devices like the S24 FE, which now sells for just ₹35,000 and runs on a weaker Exynos 2400E chip. Both phones are capable, but only one gets full Galaxy AI? It’s obvious this isn’t about hardware — it’s just a strategy to push S-series upgrades. Samsung needs to stop punishing loyal users who invested in premium devices. If a budget phone can get these features, there’s no excuse for S23 Ultra being left behind.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue and wait for next update may be fix it by Samsung team soon. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Send an error report along with log files to customer support through this members app and Samsung will fix it in the next update. To do that follow this procedure
Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> Select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.

We regret to hear about your experience with our product. Please believe that this is not a usual occurrence.

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.

Note: Charge in one go instead of charging many times as it affects the life span of battery and battery performance.

1. Perform Battery Optimization: Go to Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage, and Memory.

2. Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. when not in use.

3. Check device network fluctuation.
Avoid usage in areas with low network/fluctuation.

4. Reduce the display brightness level or set the device to auto-brightness mode.

5. Adjust screen timeout settings: Go to Settings > Display > Screen timeout > Select the minimum screen timeout.

6. Check which application is or interface is using more battery from device care and try to update app or avoid using that app.

7. Close background running apps.

8. Turn off auto sync of e-mails, app data etc.
Open notification panel > Turn off auto sync option.

9. Reset the device:
IMPORTANT:
• Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
• Remember google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
• If you do not remember it, then reset, (Forgot password) your google account.
• For this:
• Open Gmail (https://accounts.google.com/servicelogin) > forgot password >Select ""try another way"" > Next > Enter a new password > Next.

Please follow the below steps to reset the device: Settings > General Management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup > tab on Factory data reset (This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps)

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> Select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send).

It's a only 1 day old phone and the issue related to battery is a big problem right now.  Phone's battery draining really fast that 20% of battery drained just in 10 min of online chatting.  On several online sources I have found that this problem happening to almost every samsung galaxy S24 FE user after the March 2025 update. 

Please kindly look into this matter as millions of Indian users using this device and many new customers are adding day by day.

I hope samsung will not disappoint Indian customers .
