Ever since i updated my S22 Ultra to one ui 7 I am having issues with call notifications from apps like whatsapp messenger snapchat etc the call popups or notifications basically when someone is calling me it is not showing neither on my lock screen nor if my screen is unlocked. Whenever i want to receive a call from the apps i have to unlock my phone go to the app and then receive. This is super frustrating i have tried changing the settings in apps and notifications tab yet no change. Can someone help and update on this situation please!

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

● Reset the device Settings: Settings > General Management > Reset settings>Reset all settings to their default.

● Manage app notifications: Settings> Select the Apps menu> Choose one app that you want to manage from the list of all the installed apps.> Notifications> You can activate or deactivate notifications at once by tapping the switch of Show notifications, and you can also select the features you want to receive notifications for, e.g. Samsung Call app.

● For some apps to operate properly, they may need permission to access or use information on your device.

● To access your app permission settings, open Settings and tap Apps. Select an app and tap Permissions. You can check the app’s permissions list and change its permissions.

● To check or change app permission settings by permission category.
Path: Open Settings and tap Apps→ Permission Manager. Select an item and select an app. If you do not grant permissions to apps, the basic features of the apps may not function properly.

● App permissions: Check the list of apps that have permission to access the device’s location and edit the permission settings.

● Keep your app updated: Tap on Google Play Store app or Galaxy Store> Manage apps & device> Apps available to update> If you want to update apps individually, tap See details and then tap the Update button next to the app you would like to update.

In case the issue still occurs, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application ((Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.)
