I recently updated my Galaxy S23 Ultra to One UI 7, and the experience has been outstanding. The update brought a significant improvement in battery life, making my phone last noticeably longer throughout the day. The interface feels much more stable, and the animations are incredibly smooth, giving the device a fresh and responsive feel.

Even though my S23 Ultra is over two years old, this update has made it feel like a brand-new phone. Kudos to the Samsung team for delivering such a well-optimized and refined update. This is exactly the kind of software support users appreciate!

If any issue faced by users let me know in the comment section, i will try to solve the issue.

Few Guidelines During Update- Reason Samsung Usually Pushing it during Nights.
1. Initially charge the phone to 80-90%.
2. Refrain from charging during installation.
3. An air-conditioned environment is optimal for installation and subsequent phone placement.
4. Allow sufficient time before initial use.

screen panel damage occurred only when updates were installed while charging or at temperatures exceeding 35-40°C. This was due to overheating. Adherence to above mentioned guidelines will prevent this screen damages

How is the camera quality bro ? I m still in March 2024 update. Did not update my s23 Ultra cuz of reports of battery drain and green line issue. So how is this One Ui 7 ? Small bugs we can ignore but what about the major things like battery, camera quality, lagg, overheating etc

In my daily use, I've noticed minor improvements in image quality and processing, though the difference is insignificant. Regarding heating, the phone doesn't heat up quickly unless performing intensive tasks. Video quality has improved significantly, and as I don't play many mobile games, I have no information to share on gaming performance.

That's more than I need. I m also not into playing games etc. But 1 thing, did you do factory reset after updating ? It's really a herculean task to do factory reset and download all again.

Honestly, I get you. A factory reset is a pain, redownloading everything is such a drag. But I haven't done one yet, just cleared the cache and settings, and it's working fine for now.

Ok. Will do that then. Anyway I am still in Mar 24 update so the latest update which is showing in my S23 Ultra is Mar 25 update. So, I guess I have to install the March 2025 update and then the One Ui 7 will show as an update. Any particular things I need to follow while updating apart from what you wrote in the post like Not to update while charging, To update in a cool room, not to use the phone immediately after update
